6 months, 3 weeks, and 6 days

That's how long I've been a mommy.

Some days, I can't believe I've only had The Moose for (nearly) 7 months. I can barely remember a time without him. Other days it feels like the time has just flown by. My little Moosey man is SO big now. That little peanut of a newborn baby seems so far away. (Little peanut is certainly a relative term. He was 10lbs, 5oz at birth and about 22lbs now, hence, The Moose. I suppose in nut terms, he's more brazil nut than peanut.)

I am one of the lucky moms that is able to stay home to take care of my baby, which is - by far - the most amazing thing I've ever done. Watching him grow and learn new things every day is an unbelievable blessing. What I wasn't as prepared for was watching myself grow and learn new things too. So I'm taking to the blogosphere to share those things we're learning together (with Daddy, too.)

One thing I can promise you is that there will be a lot of talk about poop.

Enjoy.
